Q - What is the average turn around time for factory warranty work?

A - This really depends on the type of repairs that are needed. We always put our customers' warranty repairs ahead of outside service work or warranty work from customers who have not purchased from us. When we receive a unit for warranty repair, we will generally begin work within 3-5 business days of receiving the unit. At that point, we typically have to send the factory a summary of what needs repair (including service tech diagnostics statement, pictures, etc) and get pre-authorization to begin repairs. Once we receive pre-authorization (anywhere from 1 day - 2 weeks depending on the factory) we then order the necessary parts from the factory. From that point we wait for the parts order to be processed and shipped. Once the parts are received, we strive to have the repairs completed within a week. So depending on whether parts needed to be ordered or not, the average turnaround time for warranty work is anywhere from 5 days - 4 weeks.

Q - Do you do same day service appointments? Can I pick up my camper the same day I dropped it off?

A - Typically, No. We have a very busy service department and it would not be fair to move your service job ahead of others that have been waiting longer. We ask that you make an appointment and we will give you our best estimate on when repairs may be completed.

Q - What is the process for insurance repairs?

A - After an accident or damage has occurred, contact your insurance company right away and start the claims process. Then bring the camper to us. We will complete an insurance estimate for your insurance company and submit any photos that they require. The insurance company may send an adjuster out to look at the camper. Once we complete the estimate, we have to wait for the insurance company to approve it and provide authorization to begin repairs. At his point, we order all parts needed. We also arrange for any subcontractors that may be required. Once parts arrive, we begin repairs. Once repairs are complete, you will inspect the work and once it is found satisfactory, we will collect the insurance check and your deductible from you.

Q - Do you do on-site service calls?

A - No, we do not. However, we can give you the number of a company that we recommend for all on-site service.
